A Little Bit About Me
I love languages, I'm fluent in Chinese . English and little arabic . I enjoy reading Qur'an (although I struggle thru the arabic!), Im always increasing my knowledge about islam. I watch videos of Nouman Ali Khan and Omar Suleiman just to name a couple. I love studying the words of the Quran. The English translation doesn't do Allah's words justice. So a deep study of Arabic is so important to understand the Quran in its full meaning. Im learning about the sahaba (umar ibn khattab is my favorite), I love to cook and try new recipes, taking walks and hiking. I love being outdoors and hiking, (Yosemite national park is my favorite) I enjoy the art of Arabic calligraphy(learning the art myself and seeing it on beautiful masajid), writing poetry and scenic photography.
I want to be involved with the community helping others. I believe in Omar Suleiman's fight for justice for all and I'd love to be a part of his cause. I have a big heart for my humma. If Allah wills, I'd love to go to places and help the refugees.

I'm a very easy going person. I don't stress about things or get angry. I do think a lot, but in a good way. I'm a critical thinker.
I'm a new Muslim so I'd like my wife to guide me in Islam and teach me things I haven't quite grasped yet. I do pray 5 times a day and I'm still learning all the 'ins and outs' of salat. It's quite a task to master.
